Our story

Heritage is a living continuum

ARCHAPADMA is a cultural heritage consultancy born from the strategic collaboration between two leading firms in the field: PADMA and ARCHAPALA.

United by a shared mission to preserve, interpret, and develop Indonesia’s cultural assets, ARCHAPADMA combines deep scholarly insight with a commitment to sustainability and inclusive heritage management.

Established from years of collective experience, the formation of ARCHAPADMA reflects the integration of complementary expertise. PADMA brings a strong foundation in archaeological research, museum planning, and cultural policy, while ARCHAPALA contributes specialized competencies in architectural heritage, spatial analysis, and cultural resource management. Together, ARCHAPADMA offers holistic and scientifically grounded solutions for both tangible and intangible heritage challenges.

With a multidisciplinary team of experts in archaeology, anthropology, architecture, urban design, museology, history, philology, and tourism, ARCHAPADMA serves as a trusted partner for governments, institutions, and communities. Our approach emphasizes not only conservation, but also empowerment—ensuring that cultural heritage is sustained, understood, and integrated meaningfully into contemporary life.

At ARCHAPADMA, we believe that heritage is not merely about the past. It is a living continuum—one that shapes identity, informs policy, and inspires the future. Through our work, we aim to illuminate that continuum, crafting legacies that endure.
